HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Left the country with the hope of finding something life changing
Found out it was nothing more than some things rearranging
Discovered a different land, some different meaning
Discovered it is nothing strange, but something worth living.
I love this. It's thought-provoking. It's interesting in an insider-outsider way that I can identify with, and it sounds as if the writer has reconciled herself with earlier disappointment to find peace.

ReplyDeleteYa, could be put on top of some beat-box'ing I think... I wish it would be a bit more specific, though - if you know what I mean? Something, some things - what things? But, more importantly, the lines bring out a feeling many of us recognize, and that's a good thing.
