To-day I feel completely fine. Yesterday,
I was barely at consciousness. And to-morrow morning,
I have no idea about my health. But to-day,
To-day I feel completely fine. The night sky
And its stars resembles of a free world with no sickness,
And to-day I feel completely fine.
This is the human heart. And this
Is the heart muscle, whose function is vital
When a human wants to live. And this is the heart valve
Which in my case is damaged. The garden
So green and blooming, filled with life and prosperity,
Which in our case is damaged.
This is the respirator, which is always turned on
With a simple motion of the doctor. And please do not turn
It off at any point. You can easily remember this
If you have any education at all. The flowers
are fragile and motionless, never showing their weakness
Off at any point.
And this you can see is the medication. The purpose of this
Is to postpone the situation, as you see. They can regulate it
Rapidly up and down, we call this
Easing the pain. And rapidly up and down
The waves of the sea flows, so vigorously and full of life
They call it easing the pain.
They call it easing the pain: it is perfectly easy.
If you feel any pain in your body: like the legs,
Or the head, or the torso, or the heart,
Which in my case I have not got for long, and the
Flowers still fragile, the sea still restless and the situation going up and down,
For to-day I feel completely fine.
Nice set-up with the war between life and a disease. The two voices come out clearly in imitation of Reed's poem - a good pastiche/rewrite...
