The harsh reality

Mexico is in a complicated armed conflict.

Thousand of people have already died from causes related to drug in the state of Mexico. More than 33700 deaths for drug trafficking in Mexico since 2006 and more than 15000 people died in 2010.

This situation started because cartel leaders from different regions wanted to have influence in the most important cities to get the control of the trafficking routes. The problem has become a constant period of struggle between different armed gangs.

Most people who condemn these kinds of acts in Mexico are threatened by cartels. Many police officers, journalists and politicians died because of this reason.

Politicians try to do their best but this is the harsh reality: deaths, corruption, weapons, fights, revenge, and fear in the street.
