Somewhat cryptic little poem - and I mean that as quite high praise. Maybe Martina is on to something with the Potter inspiration - do you want to confirm, or do you prefer to remain silent? The lovely autumn image enhances the mood of the poem in just the right way as a good illustration should.
I can confirm the Potter ref but its meant more as a metaphor for something thats normally sought and found, but here the seeker is missing so its never caught
