Naming is Hard
To-May, our daughter, 'naming is hard'. Yes-dear-May,
He says but these words. So your-moron farther,
We must teach the importance of naming. But to-May,
To-day, dad says, 'naming is hard'. Elisabeth
'Listen, what a beautiful name,' I thought, the day we met.
But to-day I say: naming is hard.
This is building our stronghold. And this
Is where her defenses will hold together or fall.
When you're a girl, name matters! And naming her is a big deal,
Which in your mind it clearly is not. The branches,
Old, swayed as I saw you across the yard, destiny
Which in your mind it clearly was not
This is our daughter's future of which you speak
With such a light tone in your voice. And please do not let me
See you make that expression again. You must defend her future
If you want her to survive in school. The blossoms
Are not alive as they were when we met, no more do they let
you make that expression again.
And do not think school is not war. The school yard, for kids,
Is a battlefield devoid of rules. We fail this and
Rapidly her name will become her downfall
Easing defeat. And rapidly her name would become
The only thing I could think. I fought it but lost, her name
My downfall, easing defeat.
Her downfall, easing defeat. We must fight for her future
If we want her to survive in school: It's a war
With no rules, give her no weak points, she is meant to survive
Which in our case we clearly were not; but Elisabeth the
Blossoms were alive in the schoolyard with the sound of your beautiful name
But to-May, my daughter: naming is hard.

A Fictional Account of the Infamous Ongoing Struggle
To-day we have the eternal war of science and spirituality
Signs, psychics, mediums – mind fucking brutality
Science, on the other hand, is more my thing
Formulas, logical explanations, observations – knowledge is king
"Farmaceutical companies are the enemy
They promote drug dependency
It’s time we all return-to-live
With natural medical alternatives"
“Natural medicine” – what is up with that?
Such a thing can only be believed by a twat
Natural medicine has either not been proved to work
Or has been proved not to work, you jerk
“How do you explain psychics and mediums then?
It must be a comfort to talk to deceased loved ones again
They can help repair the mental scars that you got
Betting on a psychic to heal you is a sure shot”
Being a psychic is like reading tea leaves or meridian lines – it’s not a skill
These so-called “mediums” or “psychics” are either lying or fundamentally ill
They are, for money, lying to some crying woman whose son was beaten until he was dead
Excuse me, but in my worldview that is just totally fucked in that thing you call a head
In conclusion, here’s what gives me a hard-on:
I am a tiny, insignificant piece of carbon
I have one life and it is short
For this was another battle in the war between science and spirtuality - not to be settled in court

Naming of Art
To-day we have naming of art. Yesterday,
We had a bunch of new. And to-morrow morning,
We shall have what is considered old. But to-day,
To-day we have naming of art. The empty battlefield
Glistens over the now-blank canvas like awaiting someone,
And to-day we have naming of art.
This is the upper part. And this
Is the lower part, whose lines you must follow,
When you are given your brushes. And this is the middle part
Which in your case is the most important. The colours,
Slide together on the blanks creating a dramatic tone,
Which in our case is important.
This is the paintbrush, which is always held
Between two fingers. And please do not let me
See you let it slip. You can hold it quite tight
If you have any strength in your hand. The bodies
Are fragile laying emotionless on the now less blank canvas, never letting anyone see
You losing your slip.
And this you can see is the colours. The purpose of these
Are to make impressions, as you see. We can slide it
Rapidly up and down: we call this
Making an impression. And rapidly down and up
The soldiers are looking on from the background:
They call it making an impression.
They call it making an impression: it is perfectly easy
If you have any strength in your hand: like the colours,
And the impressions, and the paintbrush, and the dramatic tone,
Which in our case should be evident: and the bodies lie,
Silent on the now-coloured ground with the soldiers looking on,
For to-day we have naming of art.
(Pastiche - a picture painted of a horrible war)
Naming of Ice
Today we have naming of ice. Yesterday,
We had fuel, oil and gas. And tomorrow morning,
We shall have what to do when all is gone. But today,
Today we have naming of ice. African Wild Ass
Resembles the zebra, with its striped legs.
- And today we have naming of ice.
The ice is melting at the poles. And the
Water rises all around, which you will see,
When it rises where you are. This is global warming,
Which in your case you cannot yet see. The slimy trail of the
Alamosa Spring-snail will vanish once the earth is flooded.
- Which in your case you cannot yet see.
This is the safety-procedure, which serves as a plan.
By disagreeing, we are all dammed. And please do not
Act to save us all. It could be done quite easily,
By an agreement of terms. The Alligator Snapping Turtle,
Lies with open mouth, fish swim willingly in, providing him food:
- An agreement of terms
An agreement of terms: it is perfectly easy
If you can agree on some standard rules in environmental issues,
Like electrical cars, windmills, and solar cells,
But in your case the agreement is not there, and the Rusty Blackbird,
And the Small Sparrowhawk will sing no more,
- For today we have naming of ice.
